What this covers
These terms cover mwololo-backup, a personal backup utility operated by one person on their own computer, described on the home page.
Who may use it
The tool is for the operator's personal use. It is not offered as a service to the public, has no sign-up, and grants no access to anyone other than its operator. There is no support commitment and no service level.
Your responsibilities
- Only the account owner authorizes the tool, against their own Google account.
- The operator is responsible for the files that are backed up, for keeping the encryption password, and for the retention settings on their own machine.
- Use of the tool must comply with Google's terms and with the terms of any storage provider it is pointed at.
No warranty
The tool is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, including any warranty that a backup is complete, current or restorable. Verify your own backups.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator of this tool is not liable for lost or corrupted data, missed backups, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the tool.
